Hi, I’m Shaina! I’m a first-generation Haitian American passionate about using design to solve real problems and create meaningful change. I’m studying Media Management and Technology at the University of Florida, focusing on human-centered interaction.

In my freshman year, I founded Gator User Design, UF’s first and only UX/UI student organization, after realizing there wasn’t a dedicated space for students passionate about design. I now serve as the senior advisor, leading workshops, mentoring members, and fostering a growing design community.

My experience spans user research, UX/UI design, and product management, shaped by hands-on projects and leading design teams. I love brainstorming innovative ideas that make technology more accessible, inclusive, and impactful for the people who use it. When I’m not designing, you can find me baking with friends, discovering new local bands, or (trying my best at) playing tennis. At my core, I believe great design is about empathy, creativity, and community, values that continue to guide everything I create.
